2009 Audi TT Features Prices | 3.2 Quattro 2.0T Turbo

The 2009 Audi TT represents a well-balanced blend of style, performance and refinement. It's most noted for its unique look, well-appointed interior, and excellent sequential-shift manual transmission. And being available in all-wheel drive form is an added plus.

New standard features for all 2009 models include steering-wheel-mounted controls, hill-hold assist, an auxiliary audio jack and satellite radio. Also new is the availability of Quattro all-wheel drive for the 2.0 T models. In addition, a high-performance TTS coupe and roadster will be introduced later in the model year.

The 2009 Audi TT is offered as either a coupe-styled hatchback or two-passenger convertible. Trim levels are based on engine size; the 2.0 T and the 3.2 Quattro.

Standard features on the already well-equipped base Premium TT 2.0 T include 17 inch alloy wheels, power windows, power door locks, power mirrors, cruise control, leather upholstery, tilt/telescoping multifunction steering wheel, retractable spoiler, heated side mirrors and windshield washer nozzles, and a nine-speaker audio system with CD player, satellite radio and an auxiliary audio jack.

The Premium Plus 2.0 T adds power front seats, automatic xenon headlights, daytime running lights, Bluetooth phone connectivity, rain-sensing wipers, an auto-dimming rearview mirror with compass, and a trunk pass-through slot with a ski bag.

The Prestige trim includes all the features of the other trims, and adds navigation, rear park assist, Bose premium sound, and a 6-disc CD changer.

Models with the 3.2 liter engine are available in Premium Plus and Prestige trims only. And a power top comes standard on all roadster models except the base 2.0 T, which comes with a manual soft top.

There's also an S line sport package that features 19 inch wheels, napa leather sport seats, a sport steering wheel, special front and rear bumpers, and headlight washers.

Some trim levels offer stand-alone options such as 18 inch wheels with high-performance tires, upgraded leather, xenon headlights, satellite radio, Bluetooth connectivity, and adjustable suspension dampers.

The front-wheel-drive 2.0 T is powered by a 2.0 liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 200 horsepower and 207 lb-ft of torque. It's coupled with a six-speed dual-clutch S tronic automated manual transmission. Quattro all-wheel-drive (AWD) is optional.

Quattro AWD is standard on the Audi TT 3.2 along with a 3.2 liter V6 that delivers 250 horsepower and 236 lb-ft of torque. It comes with either the S tronic or a conventional six-speed manual transmission.

EPA gas mileage estimates for a base 2009 Audi TT coupe are 23 mpg city and 31 mpg on the highway. 2.0 T Quattro's are rated 2 mpg less. A 3.2 coupe has estimated gas mileage of 17 mpg city and 25 highway.

Standard safety features on all 2009 TT models include stability control, antilock disc brakes (ABS), hill-hold assist, front chest-and-head-protecting side airbags, and front knee airbags.
