"Learn Two Ways To Buy Used Pontiac Bonnevilles At Wholesale Prices!"
After 47 years, production of the Pontiac Bonneville finally ended with the 2005 model. But the the good news is that we're still seeing nice, low-mileage ones at the auctions we attend.
The most recent Bonneville was produced from 2000 to 2005. It was a sleeker design although still retaining some of Pontiac's classic ribbed body look, most notable on the SSEi. And thanks to their full-size sedan status, all the Bonnevilles provide plenty of interior room and trunk space, as well as very respectable acceleration and handling.
The Bonneville interior is mindful of an airplane cockpit with the controls angled heavily toward the driver. Literally dozens of buttons and switches, eight air vents, six gauges, an information center and an optional heads-up display really accentuate the jet aircraft motif.
In 2004, the SSEi was replaced by the GXP with its V-8 power. And the ribbed body was removed. This 4.6-liter V8 produced 275 horsepower and 300 lb-ft of torque. The GXP goes from zero to 60 mph in less than 7 seconds, quite impressive for a large sedan.
In our opinion, the Bonneville provides comfortable transportation for up to six passengers while adding in both style and performance. We also feel that its the SSEi and GXP models that driving enthusiasts would be the most interested in.
