*The Kelley Blue Book value of this Jaguar X-Type was $20,775 (at the time). Well, we're okay with that. Just find it odd that Kelley continues to have problems valuing "very low-mileage" vehicles. For example, they value the same car with 35,000 miles at exactly $20,000. Sorry, but a car with almost half the mileage sells for more than a $775 difference. Our Jaguar has only been driven around 7,000 miles a year ... a rare gem. But don't take our word for it ... do some shopping out there to see the "real world" prices. Bottom line? We're able to sell this X-Type for well under the retail price of even a 35,000 mile Jag ... yet ours has only 19,600 miles.
We like Kelley Blue Book, but they definitely have a few quirks with "low-mileage" vehicles being one of them.

"The X-Type expands Jaguar's range of cars in a few noteworthy directions. First of all, it's the first Jaguar vehicle to boast an all-wheel-drive system. Called Traction 4, this system is somewhat similar to Audi's quattro, with 40 percent of the power sent to the front wheels and the remaining 60 percent directed toward the rear. Traction 4's rear-biased torque gives the X-Type a sporty feel; in most situations, we found that the sedan handled like a muscular rear-driver, with none of the wallow found in some of Jaguar's larger sedans."
