We have the original Window Sticker on this Ford Five Hundred at $22,795 ... plus Fees. (it's was too new at the time for a Kelley Blue Book value). Apparently, it was purchased brand new just a few weeks ago. He or she drove it a couple hundred miles and apparently didn't like it ... and traded it in at a BMW Dealer, who then brought it to a Dealer-Only auction. There's absolutely nothing wrong with this car. For one reason or another, someone simply changed their mind in this very affluent south Florida car market of ours. Actually, we were able to capitalize on this same kind of circumstance on a new car last year as well. In that case, we were able to grab a 2004 Kia with 67 miles on it. It happens ... we wish more often. :-)
At any rate, this is virtually a brand new car with the full 3-Year/36,000 Mile Factory Warranty ... including the 24 Hour Roadside Assistance ... but now it's $3,000 less. In effect, someone else has paid for the immediate "drive-it-off-the-lot" depreciation.
